Everything in the app works the same way in both tiers. Same premium voices. Same import formats. Same five rehearsal modes. Same offline playback once the audio is cached. The tiers only differ on how much rehearsal you can voice per month.

We measure usage in scenes because that is the unit actors actually think in. One voiced scene is roughly 1,500 characters of non-you dialogue. Most audition sides fall between half a scene and two scenes. A long feature scene with a lot of back-and-forth can run longer than that.

Free gives you two voiced scenes, lifetime. That is enough to test the app on real audition material, not a toy demo. After that the app quietly falls back to the built-in iOS voices so rehearsal keeps working. Saved scenes are unlimited; the cap is on voicing, not saving.

Pro gives you thirty-plus voiced scenes per month, which covers what a working actor actually uses. Two or three tapes a week during pilot season fits inside that ceiling. Unlimited scenes saved to your device. Cancel from the App Store in a tap.

Voices cost money. Every character the app speaks in a premium voice bills us a fraction of a cent, which is why the tiers exist at all. The app is not ad-supported. There is no data tier. The scene budget is how we keep the numbers honest, and it is why we spend it on voices that sound like different people instead of one cheap narrator on repeat.
