A reader that waits
blablabla speaks every other character, listens while you perform yours, and never runs ahead on a timer.
Android closed beta
blablabla is an Android rehearsal app for actors who run lines alone. The first Android version is now in closed beta on Google Play, and you can join the test in three steps.
Use the same Google account for the Group, beta opt-in, and Play Store.
Your beta call sheet
A closed Google Play test has one extra door: the tester Group. Complete the steps in order so Play knows you are eligible.
Join with the Google account you use in the Play Store on your Android phone.
Join the tester groupOnce the group confirms you are a member, opt in to the closed test with that same account.
Become a testerOpen the Play listing and install. Access can take a few minutes to appear after you opt in.
Install from Google PlayJoined but still seeing “not available”? Confirm that Play is using the same account, then give Google a few minutes and open step 2 again.
What you are testing
The beta brings the full rehearsal journey to Android: a line reader that waits for you, a practice-lines app, and a selftape partner in the same place.
blablabla speaks every other character, listens while you perform yours, and never runs ahead on a timer.
Import PDF, DOCX, Fountain, Final Draft, a photo of paper sides, or pasted text. Then fix any line before you begin.
Listen, read, practice, perform, and record a selftape with your scene partner and teleprompter built in.
Generate the voices once, then keep rehearsing from cached audio when you are offline.
A real first version
Every Android beta tester gets one free month to put the app through real rehearsals. After you install, email support from the same address you joined with and we will activate it. If you run out of credits while you are testing, let us know and we will help.
This is the first Android release, so a few rough edges are expected. Send the phone model, what you were doing, and a screenshot if you have one. We will fix what we can quickly.
